how to use selective color
Selective Color is a simple and great way to add or change
your pictures' colors. Image > Adjust > Selective Color
Now let's find out what the hell are they talking about.
On the drop down menu they list colors like red, yellow,
blue, neutrals and such. That is the color that you are
changing. Basically, say you have too much red you can
choose red from the drop down and the reds on your
picture will be altered according to the changes below.
Step One
I'm going to paste a nice picture
but it's lacking luster.
Step Two
I want to make the red and yellow stand out more.
Go to selective color. Choose Reds on the drop down and
make cyan -100%. Same with Yellows. click.
Step Three
I want the rest of the picture to be more blueish.
Go to selective color. Choose neutrals on the drop down and
the settings I used were +67%, +7%, -21%, +33%. walah! done.
